Yatra Mesh
Off-grid peer-to-peer messaging for the festival. No internet, no towers — just people connecting directly over WiFi and Bluetooth.
Keep Bluetooth & WiFi on. Turn Airplane Mode on to save battery, then re-enable both. If your phone says "No internet" — tap Stay Connected Anyway.
Quick Tips
Keep these handy for the best experience at the festival.
Keep Bluetooth & WiFi On
No mobile reception on site. Put your phone in Airplane Mode to save battery, then switch Bluetooth and WiFi back on.
Disable Battery Optimisation
Go to App Info → Battery and turn off optimisations. This keeps Yatra Mesh relaying messages when your screen is off.
"No Internet" Warning
If your phone warns about no internet after connecting — tap "Stay Connected Anyway". The mesh works without internet.

- This is an all-inclusive event — everyone is welcome here.
- Please, no phones near the Tribal Zone fire or Teepee.

- Yatra Care tent — for non-first-aid wellbeing support.
- Market — clothes, arts, crafts, food and refreshments.
Get The App
Android gives the best experience. Desktop apps help relay messages across the mesh.
Privacy-first messaging over Bluetooth & WiFi. Runs in the background as a relay node even with your screen off. No account or internet needed.
Sorry, no iOS — Apple restricts the background networking needed for mesh relaying.

Linux, macOS and Windows builds. Best as a relay to help messages travel further — keep the app running.
Desktop builds are experimental. Keep the window open for best relay performance.
How It Works
WiFi Mesh
Connect to the local Yatra Mesh hotspot. Messages hop from phone to phone across the network without needing internet.
Bluetooth Relay
When WiFi isn't available, nearby devices relay messages over Bluetooth — even with the screen off.
Private & Encrypted
No accounts, no tracking, no central server. Messages are end-to-end encrypted via the Reticulum network.
